So many interactive and exhibits to play with. No matter the age you can have a great time. Plan to spend a few hours here, there is so much to explore. There is also a small cafe which has some good options for lunch in between the playing.
The whole family went down and truely enjoyed our day, take your cameras, and a positive attitude. No matter how old you are, you will find something that will intrigue your mind, and it will make you feel like you are 12 again!

if your going to visit the SC museum and you are taking your younger ones, be sure to visit edventure. It is filled with things to do for younger kids such as climbing through Eddie, the giant boy in the middle of the museum.
We took our three year old grandson and he had a ball. He loved the full size firetruck, car and tractor. The only thing I saw that would have appealed to our granddaughter was the grocery store but perhaps we only saw what our toddler wanted us to see.
This is a lot of fun for the younger children I would say 10 and under. Fun activities for the kids hands on activities.
