My wife and I walked it as the sun was setting and found it to a great way to watch the sunset. Take some water or other beverage with you! Nice exercise, incline was not bad at all. You can summit and return in about an hour. Good fun...
We made a point to drive over this bridge before leaving Charleston and it was worth it. Very cool architecture. If you are a runner, I would definitely recommend a jog over this bridge and back. Saw many others doing this.
Liked that it has a lot of lanes. Quick and easy to get on. Great for walking and biking. Great for pictures too.
I was in awe each time we drove across this bridge -- it's absolutely amazing. It also makes for some lovely photos. A must-see in Charleston!
So much better than the old bridge which was scary as heck to cross. Beautiful design, feels so much safer than it used to be.
Beautiful photography can be taken. Makes a great backdrop so folks will know just where you have been. Make sure to visit the Sweetgrass Pavillion and purchase a t-shirt. The baskets are beautiful!
We loved walking the bridge after kayaking and a great lunch. The view was great and getting to see the support wires up close was amazing.
Amazing that you can cross this bridge and not pay a toll! It looks so pretty at night, too.Easy on and off access ramps.
Very neat bridge.....but it's just that....a bridge! If you are in the area, it is worth crossing but I don't agree that it's the #1 thing to see the Charleston area.
