Very cool bridge, run across for a good workout. It's about 4 miles total and offers some good views. I recommend going early in the morning before it becomes too hot. More

I spent the weekend in the Charleston area and went to the bridge for a morning run. Suggest that you park on the Mount Pleasant side at their Memorial Waterfront Park. Not many of these really long suspension bridges are any more beautiful to see, especially from the Harbor. We were able to see it at many different times of day, and the night view is really good. You can walk/run across in safe pedestrian lanes - not something I would do, but lots of others were. More
