After 3 kids being graduated from CofC, we have nothing but praise for the school. Lovely campus. The Honors College is top-notch. The kids are gone but we're still loving Charleston.

Amazingly picturesque southern style campus! Definitely worth while to take some time and walk around the grounds and even into some of the buildings if they are open. Almost caught their very famous graduation which would have been something to see. A gem of a institution in a gem of a city!
Again, wear your walking shoes. Don't drive your car, hard to find parking. Catch the free trolley that is around town. Streets are narrow and people are walking all over the place . Buildings are old and preserved nicely. The atmosphere is typical college with all the students walking around. Lots of small places to get food.
Love the casual city campus, students add character to downtown Charleston. Proud that their male and female golf teams are hosted by Stono Ferry Golf and Country Club.
The campus is worth touring. This is a beautiful campus with historical significance. The buildings are very old and in excellent condition (seen in The Patriot film). The College has tours and will share history and other interesting facts about the college and campus fixtures.

We recently toured the college as our daughter is considering attending there. It seems like their philosphy is closer to that of a private school even though they are a public institution. This is good! After the tour, the college jumped to the number one spot on her college list1
The old building are nestles between pockets of live oaks and pocket flower gardens. The campus is downtown, so if you're in the historic are, you're already there. Many period movies have scenes filmed there.
We have wandered through the campus of C of C several times. It is very beautiful. We always seem to be able to find a new discovery or view each time. A definite destination along the way when you are walking downtown.
This relatively small campus is quite beautiful and worth taking a few minutes to walk around. It's beauty lies in the architecture of the many buildings and the grounds.
