Really great golf course. Might be a little too hard for most golfers, lots of marshes and narrow fairways. If you are straight you should be ok.

nice discount beaufort county track, gps carts a big plus most holes very nice some ok no windmills or clowns nose. this is low dollar value in a high dollar market. good staff well managed love the afternoon $25 deal can play in 3 or less most afternoons welcome addition to local golf options

Island West is a bit of a drive if you are on Hilton Head, but they have an excellent facility. Golf prices are some of the best around and the course rarely feels overcrowded. They also do not overcharge for beer (8 cans for $16) which we really like. Every hole is a challenge and course is well maintained.

You'd have to go far to match the friendly staff, and excellent course found here. The clubhouse is delightful, as is the bar / grill and outdoor seating to enjoy the 19th hole. The course is a delight.

We played 9 holes here beginning at 11:20 am for $35.00 for two with cart. I liked the GPS which clearly identified all the hazards and distances to them. The course wasn't crowded so we easily completed the nine holes in 2 hrs. Except for some of the traps, the course was in great shape. I would definitely play here... More

course is nice but... employees are crabby about being a slow golfer... EXPECT YOU TO HAVE A 4 PAR ON ALL HOLES OR SOMETHING. we let everyone in front of us..though. Snack bar needs healthier choices. ..perhaps salads, fresh fruit, etc...better than sandwiches and hot dogs...some of us are gluten free.

I liked other golf courses better but I have no complaints about this one. We played Eagle and Crescent Pointe, Island West, Rose Hill, Pinecrest and Dolphinhead on Hilton Head Island. Great golf course...well cared for and a great golf day because of it all!

We played Island West in March. The coarse was in pretty good shape. For the price of $32.50 w/cart, this is by far the best golf value near Hilton Head. Stay away, far away from Rose Hill Plantation Golf. They lost the key to the lawn mower while we were there. Coarse was in horrible shape.
