Our family has been going to the Umbrella Factory upon its inception! We enjoy the pottery, Emus, Goats, and now, the restaurant. Excellent food. We just love the eclectic atmosphere.

Only come here if you've never been to a farmer;s market or Pier One. There's nothing new. Although the the gardens are lovely and inspired me to plant. Overall, much ado about nothing.

Really cool place to get something a little different. Staff friendly and animals outside are an extra bonus.

We learned of Vintage Eyeware at the Brimfield Antiques Fair in July 2010.
Our son was in need of new glasses and they had a fabulous selection of unique frames. We selected a pair with the intent of either having them sent to us as is or give them his prescription and have them make up fully complete eyeglasses. When...

We went back many times and just loved "our place" at the Umbrella. I have not visited in a while as he became very ill and changed worlds. I went to memory lane a...

Good place to go if your interested in buying anything 'granola' or a sword. Several shops in the midst of a garden. Quiet, bohemian, plenty of incense.
Beware of the Vintage Eyeglass Shop. The owner is more than happy to tell you of all the places the store has been noted as well as plenty of name dropping....non stop. The...

Such a fun place! Nice little shops, animals, beautiful flowers! We actually spent a few hours there and I bought some wonderful things. When we went, there was actually an "emu" there, and I was able to get some great photos. I would definitely recommend visiting this place if you're in the area! :)

The Fantastic Umbrella Factory is a group of shops on a wildly manicured piece of land. There are typically animals in the back paddock and goldfish in the fountain. Walkways are covered with a funky trellis/open covered path. Knick knacks, brick-a-brack, cards and off beat toys and objects can be found in the Main Barn. Small Axe Productions, which has...

I have lived in Rhode Island most of my life and just discovered this hidden gem! The stores are old buildings (there are about 4 or 5 in total) and have great hand made jewelry, sundresses, sunglasses, scarfs, pocket books, a big assortment of international items and much much more! The gardens are worth seeing alone, along with the green...
