I viewed this kayak trip as a great way to drill down about the history and current state of affairs on Block Island because I saw that the proprietor, Carrie, was born on the island and we were not disappointed. She knows everything about the island and there is no better way to learn than while kayaking on one of... More

This was our first family kayaking adventure, and we all loved it! The equipment was well taken care of, and the session was not over-crowded. The owner - Correy - was fantastic with the grown-ups and kids alike. She even got my teenage daughter to smile - more than once! Correy engaged the kids in all aspects of the adventure,... More

If you are in block island don't miss a tour or kayak rental with Corrie, the proprietor. She is responsive, knowledgeable and a native Block Islander. We really enjoyed the kayak tour and meeting Corrie.

This is a must do on Block Island. We had a group of 5 new to kayaking, including 3 children ages 14, 11, and 10. Corrie was easy to work with and accomodating. The day we arrived she explained the conditions were not ideal and recommended another day. Because we were only on Block Island she took us out anyway.... More

First off, thank you to Corrie for the excellent tour. She was more than accommodating in setting up my wife and I with a tour that exceeded her normal running hours. She works very hard to take care of both experienced and inexperienced kayakers. Corrie is located in the "BIMI" (Block Island Maritime Institute) lot of Old Harbor, back behind... More

I brought my wife to Block Island because I thought we'd both enjoy it, and chose Pond & Beyond as one of three things we would both enjoy on our one-day visit. It was a great choice and I am glad we picked this for our morning activity. After arriving by ferry, we sat down for breakfast in town, we... More

We've kayaked with Pond and Beyond the last two summers and I can't imagine a trip to BI without a tour. Great fun for our entire family (including our son who has special needs -- always felt safe).

I went on a kayak tour with Cory and several friend and children. Cory did a great job helping the younger kids learn how to kayak and about nature while still engaging the adults and older kids! The scenery just can't be beat either. Block island is really a special place.

Thank you Corrie for a brilliant kayaking tour of the Great Salt Pond! My husband I, and two daughters visited Block Island in August for the first time. We checked online for kayak rentals, and Pond and Beyond popped up as not only the number one kayak rental place, but the number one attraction on the Island! So we found... More

When you read allot of positive reviews one sometimes wonder if it can be that good. From my experience one Pond and Beyond Kyack Tours (and rentals) is indeed as good as it's press. One word ... Integrity sums it up.  On a Saturday I was told "it's a bit windy today so I suggest we don't go out". Corrine... More
