My kids loved the robot section and the train that was set up was really neat. It also had family bathrooms that you could lock. It had a rocking chair in it which I really appreciated since I had to nurse my baby! Nice place to go.

This was a great place to visit for a few hours. I think adults and children would enjoy the exhibits. We enjoyed the walk through the submarine and the model train exhibit the most. The IMAX theater was good as well. Some of the hands-on computer things did not seem to function the way they were supposed to function. The... More

Great place to take your children. Buy the memberships for a better deal and take them to the other museums. The kids can play at the Carnegie Science Center and are tired and happy at the end of the day. Wonderful!!!!!!!!

There is something for everyone at the Science Center. The planetarium is always fun, and the Omni Max Theater always has a selection of movies. The miniature railroad is amazing and one of the best I have ever seen. There are losts of hands on exhibits and unique educational displays. The cafeteria is nice and clean with reasonably priced food... More

I love the Carnegie Science Center. There is plenty to do for both children and adults. Most recently I saw "The Flight of the Butterflies" at the Rangos Omnimax Theater. Center seats near the mid-top would be best for this particular movie. It is a fascinating account of the lifespan of Monarch butterflies. While you're there, check out the gift... More

There are plenty of science museums around (and we are members of our local) but this one takes the prize. Not only does it have the usual exhibits, but there are interactive shows through the day, including a kitchen (where ice cream making was demonstrated, complete with dry ice), a planetarium, and a submarine. The cafeteria serves reasonably priced meals,... More

Went to the Science center while in town with my son, age 6.5. He loved it! We were there almost 4 hours. Right amount of things to look (trains and robots) at and things that can be touched and moved (many "experiments" and touch examples). Highlights that we have not seen before were the robots. You can play air hockey... More

We loved the science center! We saw "Flight of the Butterfly's" at the Omnimax theater and the advice from employee's to sit at the top was great advice. Kids loved the play center on the top floor the most. But also loved the submarine out back and the Sports Center as well. Fun for the whole family. We will definately... More

There's so much to do here, on so many levels, that both kids and adults will stay entertained and often will learn something about science,
