This outdoor tour has limited times, so be sure to check to see when they are scheduled. A volunteer takes you on a walking tour of fenced areas that wolves roam through. Buckets of frozen meats bring the wolves to the fence line for up close viewing. The volunteer relates stories and facts about each wolf and wolves in general.... More

Our guide, Dale, gave an excellent, informative 90 minute tour. We were ten feet away from about 20 wolves. It was a first for this 60 year old! I highly recommend the experience!

We went to Wolf Sanctuary today and had a great time! The volunteers were extremely knowledgable and very friendly, and the wolves were beautiful. When we got there, we were surprised/overwhelmed by how many people were arriving, but luckily they broke us into manageable groups and there was never a point during the tour where I felt I could not... A leisurely stroll through the sanctuary with volunteers who are dedicated and well informed about the individual animals and packs. Close up viewing which makes it a remarkable experience. The animals are well cared for and not striped of their natural behaviors. The sanctuary was short on volunteers that day which was unfortunate. If I lived closer I would gladly... More

After a few days enjoying the Lancaster area, we visited the wolf sanctuary because of my fascination with the animal. Not know what to expect, we enjoyed the leisurely time afforded us by an excellent guide (Chuck) who offered information along with personal stories of each animal. The respect, care and dedication given this facility and especially the wolves themselves... More

Visited sanctuary today and thoroughly enjoyed the tour. We were very pleased with Denny our tour guide. He was very informative and interesting. He was able to answer any and every question regarding the wolves. I had a wheelchair and one of the volunteers-Jerry, I believe, was kind enough to offer to help me up a steep hill with my... More

The tour was fantastic and very informative. The wolves at times can be as close as 2/3 feet away from you. The tour lasted about two hours and moved right along without time being noticed. The tour guide was very personable and pleasant. Once the tour is done they allow you to take your time and take pictures and visit... More

Four of us went to see the Wolf Sanctuary on a beautiful warm day. So did lots of other people! The tours start at noon on Saturday and they ask that you get there by 11:30 AM. There was adequate parking for us and several people to guide us to our spot so the parking for a long line of... More

First, I was very surprised that there were so many people there. It was Easter weekend and we needed to wait in line to pay. I would arrive before noon if it is a holiday. Because of the number of people, the tour guides stood at each pack and you were free to move around on your own. The guides... More
