This is a well organized, educational experience for children as well as adults. Certainly worth scheduling time to enjoy this center city Harrisburg gem.

First stop at a fire museum and we were impressed! As two firefighters ourselves we were interested in the history of firefighting in the Harrisburg area. Lots of historical pieces to look at (old uniforms, gear, equipment, etc) in a beautiful building! A must-see for firefighters!

Original place downtown, where you can eat at the bar (noisy) or better in the bottomof the restaurant. I enjoyed the beef filet even though it was overcooked (I asked rare). Decoration is made from many firemen accessories. The restaurantis very well located in the heart of Harrisburg. Service was pretty good.

Friendly tour guide and lots of polished brass on the horse drawn fire engines. Nice outing for adults and kids to downtown Harrisburg.

For $5, me and my two kids (4&2) went on a 2 hour guided tour - I had a military discount. While the history was a bit boring for my kids, I thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience. My son (2) loved to sit on the big engines and ring the bells. Our guide was super informative.
