Waldameer is a nice, albeit small, park. There are numerous rides for all ages and the park is located next to Presque isle State Park. They have recently added another roller coaster that is very good. There are plenty of picnic grounds for families and a nice water park.

While the old park has some of the charm of yesteryear, everything is so crammed in to the Lakeside site. Rides are diverse enough for a small park, but the water park pools were dirty - YECH

I would have to say that Waldameer is just one of those charming parks that sticks with you. You have plenty of options for recreation from mineral mining, rides, water park, to picnic's. Line wait is reasonable and the variety of attractions offers something for everyone.

We really enjoy Waldamere, it's got tons of activities — rides, games, waterpark. Greta for all ages. It's not huge so you don't get tired of walking. My only complaint is that it's dirty so make sure you bring sanitizer and wear shoes in the bathrooms & showers!

My huand and I have been going to this park since we were little! love to take our 5 year old daughter there.. she loves it!!! The park is expanding every year.
