7 of us stayed in the a river side cabin which comfortably fit everyone. We did not have running water or a toilet in ours however; the bathrooms and showering facilities were very, very clean. We was in during the week following Memorial day. Best I've seen and I've been camping at many of state parks. The cabin itself was... More

A magnificent beauty in north central pa. I recommend the forest cathedral for a walk or hike. The trails are diverse and the whole area is breathtaking. A great example of what PA has to offer to outdoor enthusiasts.

Atving through town and seeing some sights that you normally do not get to see on the Allegheny system. They even give you a ticket for a free breakfast and esp. lunch along the Trail !!!

Whether tubing, swimming, canoeing or kayaking the river is the best. Beautiful hiking trails and natural surroundings of woodlands only harvested once in time. Beauty of nature at it's best.

My fiancé and I stay in a cabin on the river every year and we discover something new every time! It is great to laze down the river in a canoe or just to relax by the river. It's a bonus that there is no cell phone service if you ask me! Just an all around nice get away!

We go to cook forest all the time! Hike the Forest cathedral trail system to find some gigantic old trees. Seneca trail takes you up a steep mountain side to the old fire tower and Seneca point scenic overlook (you can drive there as well). The campground is wonderful, with some of our favorite sites in the back section. There... More

Be sure to visit Fire Tower/Scenic Overlook. Nice Ranger station where you can get information and a kids fishing pond behind it.

Great Place to hike and try canoeing on the Clarion River. An absolutely gorgeous State Park. Stop at the Bucktail for lunch!

Cook Forest is a GREAT place to travel to. I have spent the weekend and I have gone for the day. I recomend packing a picnic and having lunch on the banks of the Clarion River, but there are many pavillions throughout the park that a wonderful as well. There are great places for go-kart racing, mini-golf, bumper boats, water... More
