We were really pleased with the 90 minutes we spent with Abe's. The driver, Erv Stolzfus, was very friendly and very knowledgeable about the Amish community. He answered all of our questions and gave us great narration. And then he took us to a family's home, where we got to meet them and learn more about their lifestyle. A good... More

You can take a buggy ride for 1 mile or on up, takes you along the back roads looking at amish farms. our tour guide was very nice, and he was a mennonite, very pleasant in telling us about different things.

We took a buggy ride on a weekend trip to Lancaster. We had some time to kill before check-in to we did this spur of the moment. What a joy! I was really expecting it to be lame, but it was great. My kids (and my in-laws) loved it! It was hot, but once the horse starts off the breeze... More

Abe's is a PRIVATE buggy ride with just your family. The wait was a reasonable length of time (we had our 16 mo. old). She loved the swing and the baby animals while we waiting. It was cold the day we went, but our driver, Daniel asked if we were ok with the open buggy. The horse's name was Dixie... More

Having never been to Pennsylvania I really did not know what to expect. This area is absolutely beautiful!! When we got out of our car we were immediately greeted by the sweetest little girl named Ruthie, dressed in her Amish clothes.. Her mother helped us choose our buggy ride (we did the 1 hour drive with a stop at a... More

Even though we showed up at 10 in the morning on Saturday during the Memorial Day Holiday, there was no wait for our 3 mile buggy ride. We took this ride even though it cost a little more because it goes on the back roads rather than the (scarily) busy main road. I think it cost the four of us,... More

We had the 2 miles tour which cost $25 for 2 adults and 1 child. Our guide was menonite and not Amish but he was very informative. I would have preferred to have an Amish guide. We feel we got our monies worth and my 7 year old enjoyed sitting up front and helping to drive the horse.

Abe's is the best buggy ride in Lancaster, in our opinion. It is a small, cozy, romantic buggy like what the Amish use themselves. Other buggy rides have gone commercial and use large wagons with many passengers.

We took the short town tour and the driver was very knowledgeable. Kind of neat ridding on one of those small buggies.

Hello me and my father just recently visited Lancaster County for the 2nd time this year and we wanted to do something diffrent and that we both had never done before. We were going to take a ride with Aaron and Jessica's but we heard that they were soooo slow and cramped people into buggies. At Abe's our driver was... More
