Very nice efficient staff. Their sandwiches are better than I can make, great to take ith you to the beach.
Catch this spot on the right day and you'll be treated to a spectacular show of crashing waves and splash foam. Even on an off day it is a great view. Easy, well-maintained trails and a friendly sanck/coffee shop, too.
Depending on the tide, size of incoming waves etc. So go at high tide if you can, or during a storm and take the short hike down to the little channel which concentrates the water action into some fun, frothy spouts and swirls. Go here. The bigger the waves, the better the view. This is a great stop to catch the drama of the Pacific Ocean hitting land. Great photography spot as well. Nice hike to the bottom on calmer days, but a lot of uphill coming back.
This is a pretty neat place. The sounds and the views of the spray were worth the time to stop. The views and ounds remind you of the power of nature. The walk down to the shoreline is a little steep but definitely worth the effort.
If you're looking for a spectacular high tide hike this is the place. Park at Devil's Churn and then follow the coast line all the way to a view of spouting horn. Along the rocky coastline you'll pass the site of an ancient midden and might even see whales migrating.
Devil's Churn and the surrounding area reveals many exciting views of rocks, waves and blow holes. An exciting place to visit during a storm.

Thankfully we didn't plan our day around it - the devil's churn is basically just a shortish niche in the rocky outcrop where water swirls around ... might be spectacular in a storm but certainly didn't look very...

I was there at low or mid-tide and understand it's quite a show at high tide. It was still a beautiful view. Will go back.
