as you walk by and see all those plates your hear feels the pain of relatives that lost their beloved in the see. our prayers with them. great place for walking and thinking about your life.

Had no idea this was there when I went before, but we saw it this last trip. Very nice to have a place where you can cast your thoughts outside yourself. It is a beautiful place. A beautiful bay. Perfect.

I have been to Newport almost 20 times and always visit alllll the lighthouses. Then one day while visiting the Yaquina Bay lighthouse I noticed it! There is a place to sit and just think about the ones who lost their lives and the ones who lost loved ones. Neat and sad!
