Jodi the manager is rude beyond words. We will never camp there again. Her husband is equally as rude, perhaps these people are in the wrong business. Maybe no one has every explained to her what camp host means. What a loss.

A nice summer visit to Crane Prarie Reservoir during Osprey nesting season is super fun,but bring the Mosquito Repellent, cause you have water, warmth, swampy areas and everything just perfect for Fish, Opsrey, Frogs and Bugs! The reason Osprey Point is so beloved by the Feathery Birds Of Prey is the presence of a forest of Dead Trees! Birds love... More

The birds are interesting and a great variety. We kayaked among old, dead trees that are home for coromont condos. I have seen white pelicans, and eagles. One time we saw a female elk from our kayaks. How fun is that? Depending on where you launch from, you might encounter fisherman in boats, or float tubes. I know nothing about... More

We love the Central Oregon Cascade Lakes outside of Bend and have been getting to know this magical area quite well. Avid campers and explorers, we have experienced everything from RV parks to rural walk in US Forest Service sites. The Quinn River Campground on Craine Prarie Lake has the best of both worlds and is a great base camp... More

Beautiful mountain views from this lake. The while thing is very shallow so ski boats are never out here, but it is elite for fishing.

Rented a boat at the resort and spent all day on the lake. Some amazing views of mountains, spotted a bald eagle, some hawks, etc. Didn't really start fishing until ~4, not expecting to catch anything at all. we got 5 trouts, the largest 2 were too heavy though, broke the line and got away! Will be back with a... More

Loved the views and the calm serene environs. Have been to Crane Prairie several times with friends, each time has been fantastic. The camping area is pretty private as far as tent camping goes. The restrooms were clean and well maintained. This is a man made lake - a reservoir. You can see the snags in the water everywhere which... More

This is a huge lake great for paddling. The wind can come up though and get pretty wavy and difficult for beginning paddlers - so if you're not sure about your skills, head back to your starting point at the first sign of any weather. A wide variety of interesting birds when we were there. Not a lot of good... More
