I think this is a very good zoo but it can be better if they expand, so that there is more room for the larger animals like the elephants, hippos, and gorillas.

I have been to this zoo several times over the last decade, it just continues to get better. This is a large zoo, so plan on wearing comfortable clothing. The OKC Zoo has done some major updating and is a wonderful place for the family to visit! I love the organization of the zoo and the great habitats that are provided.

Overall the zoo was nice. The bears were very active and there was a zoo keeper answering questions which was a plus. The maps were a little hard to follow so play close attention to where you are going. Food was ok. Typical zoo food.

The zoo has a feeling of peace about it that makes the trip special. The animals are well cared for with room to move around and feel comfortable. The ride is well worth taking because it is too big to walk around
