Lovely walks, wrong time of the year to see many flowers. Discovery tour was fantastic, tour guide was excellent, learnt and saw so much. Had luch in the cafe, excellent food and drinks at great price. Would recommend a day out here to everyone.

We had a really lovely day out here with a toddler and a four year old. There place is a mix of nature reserve, waterfowl collection, aviaries, gardens and lakes. There's plenty to keep children amused - two playgrounds (and they're building what looks like it's going to be an amazing adventure playground for older children - due to open... More

Fantastic day out for all the family. The Wensum discovery tour is a must. This is our third visit and we were still there from opening to closing time. Easily accessible for prams and wheelchairs for the majority of the way. A great way to get the kids into nature.

All being bird watchers we visited pensthorpe whilst on holiday. We loved it, plenty to see and nice mix of captive and wild birds. We loved the wader shore! Bearded tits soooo close! Great to see ruffs in their summer plumage. We arrived just after 10 and left at closing time at 5pm and we could of stayed longer. Would... More

I hadn't been here for around 20 years and my oath, what a transformation! Beautifully landscaped and carefully tended, this is a mix of formal gardens, pools, scrapes, reedbed and of course the river Wensum which winds through the entire area. There's a handy information map handed out in reception with all the possible walks highlighted. Plus at least 6... More

Lovely day out beautiful day. Very nice and very interesting maybe just TOO kid friendly. I just feel walk in country in interesting enough without cutout bird shapes to entertain kids.

WOW!!! What a wonderful day out! We went on an overcast day which was muggy but it made no difference to us! This is a predominatly outdoor attraction so we got plenty of fresh air. I would strongly recommned going on the guided tour on a trailer pulled by land rover. you are given special access to parts of the... More
