If you have nothing to do and are in Jabalpur city only for a couple of hours, then this museum offers a nice timepass. A collection of rare coins, monuments and arms makes it a decent place to visit.
The place is mismanaged and is nothing compared to the other large museums in the country.

If you want to see collection of old coins and architecture of central India this is a good place but it is in dire state due to utter negligence of archiology department. Some of the artifacts on display are very rare and worth seeing.
