We walked on Garam Sadak in the evening and there were not many people on it. We enjoyed the serenity and indeed it's little warm. The walk was little long (approx 2 kms) for kids but was good for once. There is a small market in the beginning but doesn't offer much value. Spending time with family here was a great... More

Glorified name given to a ramshackle pathway, badly maintained and dirty. Faces south so is warmer, thats all. Forgettable. Better walks available, like to Jandri Ghat from Kwality Restaurant on Gandhi chowk.

Initially i was just thinking the reason for its name.... When you are actually there and it is peak winters then you realise the importance of this road. With sun shining on this road you can spend quite a bit of time heating your mind and body.. It is a must walk....

People who love to walk , this is the one for you in the hills. It culminates into the more famous Subhash chowk or Subhash Baoli . The road as the name suggest is warmer than other places as it receives direct sunlight.

Just another place to walk and experience and spirit of Dalhousie... the temperature at this point is slightly higher than the thandi sarak.... However you won't miss something big in case you don't visit this point.

It is to be kept in mind that this road is meant only for pedestrians. Be cautious whilst wandering through Garam Sadak at nighttime and do not forget to take a flashlight. It might be dazzling and luminous in the day,Garam Sadak is the best promenade in Dalhousie. One among the two crisscross roads that joins the famous Gandhi and... More

It was a good walk. We were told it was possible to see the snow clad peaks of the Peer Panjal. Our luck did not favour us. We saw a lot of haze in the distance, through which the uv filter could not see.
