I love climbing those stairs, I love feeding the fishes and turtles in the pond right below the haigriv madhav temple, and my prayers are heard there too... And the way (the journey) is good too... Plus I visit the majhaar too whenever i visit hajo!

Hajo Temples were worth visiting. Stairs lead you to the main temple and there were adjacent temples too. Liked the architecture and the calmness.

Its worth braving the Saraighat bridge crossing to visit the Hajo temples. There are a lot of steps to be climbed at the first temple, but if you are in reasonably good shape, then its worth climbing up. Hajo is a nice place.We have our uncle's home there.The temples like "Madhab";"Kedar" are real beauty but it needs a lot to be administerd.Specially I may mention of the KEDAR DEWALAYA. The priests over there are a bit higher than "GREEDY". But the place is nice and I like to visit there in summers bcoz of the delicious mangoes found... More
