Spent a night in a yurt, took sunset tour, had a nuce meal, enjoyed scenery and had a fantastic zip line tour. Staff very knowledgeable and friendly. Ask for tour guide Matt D if your ziplining. Food was good with great friendly service. Hope to return again next summer.

We took the air conditioned tour bus to see all the animals and it was worth the two hour tour. We gathered friends and went back to do the zip lines which were awesome as well. We plan on returning to go horseback riding!

I have been to the wilds many times over the years but just did the sunset Safari last summer. It was wonderful! They take the feed truck out ahead of the tour so you are assured to see almost every animal up close. I saw animals on this your that I have never seen before. My husband and I enjoyed... More

Lots of wild animals that run over a LARGE AREA. You may not see anything depending on where the animals are hanging out at. Usually we see rhinos and other wildlife. A different sort of place worth finding.

This land was reclamed and planted with plants native of the animals. The moment we entered the area, it felt like we were not in Ohio anymore! The whole trip last about 2 hours. Entering the Safari felt like the movie 'Jurassic Park'. Not many carnivores though. The bus driver told us that the herd of Chinese goats is near... More

This was a very cool experience. This tour is unlike any other "zoo". They take you around in either an open wagon-car or an air-conditioned bus. You get fairly close to the animals and it is very fascinating to see the animals somewhat naturally instead of locked up in a tiny cage. You also see many exotic animals.

We went on a fall weekend, and the leaves had just started to change colors, while there are not a lot of trees it added to the appearance. Riding in the open air bus was a bit brisk, but the animals were active and entertaining. The guide seemed very knowledgeable, and was funny and friendly. Despite the educational portions (which... We stayed for one night at Nomad Ridge in September and it was fantastic. Yes, it is expensives however, the price does include a tour, dinner, and breakfast. Staying in a yurt is very cool! What you need to know. Your yurt has power, standard bathroom facilities, a ceiling fan and a window AC unit. If you are shy, a... More

This is a bit of a drive but definitely a perfect place to take pictures and see the animals up close. Some came right up to the open air bus which we loved being able to see them so close. The mistake we made is we ended up going on a very cold rainy day. Cold & wet wasn't optimum... More
