Cape Tribulation is a must when in Far North Queensland. We drove and found it to be a relaxing easy drive. Cape Tribulation beach is spectacular and surprisingly quiet. There are several walks in the rainforest in the local area that are easy (duckboarded or gravel). There are also several walks to the various beaches in the area that are... More

Quite an experience - it is a special part of Australia. Having experienced other parts of Queensland nearby, we can be thankful that earlier residents have left this part relatively unscathed. The rainforests are absolutely beautiful but it seems that tourism is almost dead and many of the facilities and hotels are now closed with too few visitors. More

The rainforest is simply gorgeous. The rainforest is so lush and green, full of local wildlife. The beaches are also beautiful. Calm warm water and soft golden sand. Just watch out for the crocodiles around the estuaries and beaches. More

Truly magnificent! Well worth a visit - stayed for 4 days and did lots but was not long enough. Truly wonderful experience. Great range of activities to help you to understand and discover the region. Truly part of Australia's wilderness More

What a beautiful part of the world. As you travel through the rainforest you appreciate how ancient and untouched this place is. Sleepy townships set amongst beautiful rainforests. Amazing beaches and friendly people. If your in north Queensland this is a must see! More

Perhaps this beach wouldn't be as magical if it were packed with tourists-what beach would be? But the one thing I absolutely charished about this location was that there were NO other people on this beach! I believe its a relatively large area, so that might be why, but just that small, minute sense of calm I felt for just... More
