Deers leap is a family friendly place to ride with a scenic route around the park and challenging features to test your skills. It offers a range off short trails packed with features. Including jumps, drops and North shore. The staff here are extremely welcoming and provide a wonderful experience and a excellent environment. Bike services at Deers leap can’t be any better your bike always comes back exceptionally serviced and exquisitely clean.

After chatting to Adam on the phone, we excitedly went to visit. He was helpful and friendly from the start, soon later we were kitted up with everything we needed, bought two new bikes and helmets and had a test run on the track which was amazing scenery and perfect for all abilities. Recommended to families, couples day out or a solo adventure. They have a lovely cafe next door for great coffee and cake which you definitely deserve after your ride. Adam had us laughing and learning from his extensive knowledge of bikes it’s clear everyone there loves what they do.

We’re so pleased we chose this place to have our son’s 10th birthday party! 9 boys plus 2 adults went out for 2 hours with Bruce and thoroughly enjoyed themselves! Despite the recent rain and thick mud they all loved it!
Val and Bruce put on a cracking spread -we went for the pizza package option. There’s was so much food!! We also went for the personalised cake for an extra £18. They couldn’t have done enough for us. A completely stress free party and some very happy boys! We can’t wait to come back!

We are just back from my 9 year old daughter’s archery party at deers leap and I wanted to make sure I put in a review ASAP! The girls had great time, everyone was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Jordan was an excellent instructor and managed to ensure everyone had fun despite the unbelievably hot weather! We were able to use the cafe tables for our party food afterwards and the girls then really enjoyed their little award ceremony where they all won a prize - archery based or otherwise! A great morning and we would definitely go back, thank you!

My son recently celebrated his 10th birthday at Deers Leap - we picked the mountain bike activity and the children had an amazing time! They arrived back tired and hungry and Bruce and Val who run the cafe at Deers Leap provided some wonderful party food, we chose the pizza package - excellent value for money and Bruce and Val were extremely helpful going above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly and everyone had what they needed. Would highly recommend using them for your party food.

Used the park as Combined Cadet Forces central camp and was perfect for all levels including beginner to mid-range mountain bikers. Had all the facilities for basic skills, then onto the pump track and skills run, then trails for the beginners to woodland technical runs.
However, what really shone through was the fact that my bike developed a problem which was fitted in and fixed by Adam with minimum fuss and done very quickly which got me out of a serious bind and kept me running. Very rare to get the level of customer service nowadays!

Amazing fun with my boys (aged 10 and 12) at a very reasonable price. Good 4 hrs of outdoor fun. Something for everyone and you don't have to be a bike nut or super fit to enjoy. Staff super friendly and helpful with any bike issues. Location is fantastic with some stunning countryside. With a lovely cafe as well. We will be back.

With our usual venue (Cyclopark) closed for the Cyclocross Nationals (12th Jan 2019), we wanted to ride somewhere else not too far away. A 45 minute drive brought us to Deers Leap Bike Park.

The £5 entry fee proved to be great value for money. A beautiful location, with enough variety in terrain to keep things interesting for our mixed-age, mixed-ability group. Good sign-posting, easily related to the map you can get at reception.

A great touch is the skills area close to the start of the trails. Purpose-built structures can be rolled or jumped. A selection of drop-offs help build confidence. Nice bit of single track here, with some lovely berms.

Great few hours riding, topped off with a hot drink in the café. Unfortunately, the café wasn't serving food, due to just recovering from a recent fire, but this should all be back in full service soon, apparently. Good friendly staff, very willing to help our group. We will be back to further explore this smashing venue.

The Manager showed no interest in seeing the two 12-year old lads I had brought along to ride, despite Deers Leap Bikes Code of Conduct Number 12 stating '..all riders must check in at the visitor centre on every visit'. I was openly ridiculed for insisting that the boys read through the safety briefing themselves. I considered the Manager behaved in an intimidating way. Not impressed.

We booked a kids mountain bike party for my 10 year old daughter and 12 of her friends. It was in a great location that wasn't too demanding for the kids but challenging enough for them. Our bike instructor was Tully and he was fantastic with them. I hired a bike too so I can follow them and take pictures. They finished the trail around the junior ramps/obstacle course which they loved. After the ride was finished there are some benches outside, as the weather was fantastic, and we ended the day with pizza delivered and birthday cake.

All in all they had a great time and Deers Leap bikes was fantastic. I highly recommend them.
