I come here whenever I go to Mahone Bay. I go to Mahone Bay just to go here. Great assortment of supplies and patterns and wools and help. Lovely!
Amazing hooking pieces adorn the walls to purchase, many kits, hooks, fabrics to buy. She is a willing instructor if you don't know how to hook. It's like stepping back into the 1800's to go there....and you will love it.
We were so impressed with the rug hooking on display, the staff was helpful and friendly. My wife used to rug hook many many years ago, and the staff helped her pick out a wonderful kit to take back home and work on. Thank you for running such a Gem of a shop
Great people run the place. They are very helpful and know everything about rug hooking. That includes cutting and dyeing fabric and wool. They sell fabric, dye, hooks, etc. And they teach. A great asset to the town and area.
The rug hooking displays are wonderful, room after room, but the best part is Carol Harvey-Clark, friendly, helpful and just simply enjoyable to visit.
I purchased a rug hooking kit from this shop to rediscover a hobby that I used to do with my grandmother when I was little. I got great advice and was really pleased with their selection. They offer classes too.
