My husband and I searched for a number of adventure / outdoorsy opportunities in Nova Scotia, which included kayaking with other companies, rock climbing, cycling, and hiking; and we're so glad to say that we made the best choice of our trip by booking time with NovaShores Adventure. In short: kayaking with NovaShores adventure was an intimate, fascinating, low-key/pressure, memorable,... more

Thanks oldo, nice to get a review from Denmark, especially since you were so considerate to write it in English vice your native Danish so all us uni-lingual North Americans such as myself could read it! Hope to see you in Nova Scotia again.

My wife, myself, and my daughter have twice been on the 5-hour Fundy Adventure tour with Novashores and we plan to go again next year. Werner was the guide both times. Both trips were absolutely wonderful. Werner is an excellent guide - very knowlegeable, helpful, and highly focused on safety for his flock of novice kayakers! The scenery along the... more

We went at low tide and went by the 3 sisters on the way to a beach to eat lunch. We walked about 100 yards to get to the water to start. The guide (Warren) took off at a quick pace and had little to say excep the safety meesage to start. We had a nice lunch but on the... more

The Bay of Fundy, with the worlds highest tides is certainly a unique environment for paddlers unaccustomed to the currents and waves created by these tides. Imagine a place where on some big tides, called spring tides, 40 ft in vertical height of water fills and empties on 6 hour cycles. On the extreme other end are the small tides,...

My husband and I booked their Fundy Explorer trip - an all day trip along Cape Chignecto Park in the Bay of Fundy. We were both beginners and were a little nervous about safety and our own abilities, but NovaShores put us right at ease immediately. First of all, when the weather looked a little rough on our original date,... more

We spent a day out with NovaShores, Else Marie and Werner and had a wonderful day. The started out meeting at the office and getting our gear together. After a drive up the coast and into the National Park we arrived at a beautiful beach to start the adventure. In double kayaks 6 novice kayakers set off with the two... more

Just returned from a trip to Halifax and found this kayaking company via Google search. I did the full day trip out of the Dover location and had a wonderful time, despite the somewhat foggy day. Glenn is an excellent and safety conscious guide that took us on a great trip toward Peggy's Cove. The spots selected for lunch and... more
