This course came highly recommended, but it seemed to be a little overhyped. I dont really have any specific complaints: the staff were very friendly, the course was in good shape, and we played in about 4 hours. However, for over $100 there are certainly better bargains that dont have the same tradition or name recognition. My other complaint is...

AVOID OYSTER BAY AT ALL COSTS. We have been coming to Myrtle for 16 years and Oyster Bay has always been in the rotation. That is until this year. The course was completed backed up all day. However, that didn't stop the starters from rushing us out to wait. Their customer service was terrible. A shining example of how not...

By far my favorite golf course in the northern Grand Strand. Golf it in the morning hours-the shadows are magnificent, the wildlife and scenery just awesome!!!!!! My husband is an avid golfer and I'm a hacker and we both enjoy playing here!!!!

One of the best courses in the area. So many memorable holes. Always in great shape. Just wish they offered some specials for kids.

We've been to this course the last two years in April, and are heading back again this year. We love the layout and the views but the greens really do need some work.

Unfortunately we started on the back 9 and that is a dis-service to the course that is meant to be played in order 1 - 18. The course has some very nice sights...
