This is just an area to relax and get away from it all but can be very crowded especially in school holidays. Wait till they are all back at school if you want the quiet you are seeking. More

I love recreational swimming. I like to take my family and friends down there for a nice, relaxing swim with a sea view also with Moreton island in the background. More

A family friendly, safe swimming, salt water lagoon which is pleasantly designed so that parents can watch over their kids whilst swimming in a patrolled area. BBQ's, shelters, benchs and shades are provided as well as plenty of green areas which can be used for sunbaking and picnicing. The shower and toilet facilities are very good (2 each for men... More

The little ones like this place. When the weather is warm they love this place as it is safe for swimming and having fun. There are picnic spots and tables in shade but not when it is crowded. It faces the east and sheltered by the cliff at the back on the west side. OK when not busy. More

This is no ordinary lagoon. Sheltered huts near the wares edge, life guards close by and it is tripple filtered water - so very clean. It is very popular because, as the locals will tell you, the beaches are great, but hard to actually swim and have fun - very shallow. And life guard shade, atmospher, make it one of... More
