M wife and I have been to many concerts over the last four years. Although they perform in several venues, home base if Meymandi Hall, which is where we have heard them. The best concert is New Year's Eve, which has always been spectacular. And before the concert, the fireworks can be seen for the early celebration by the City... More

We attended a wonderful concert in Booth Amphitheatre, Cary, NC. They symphony is wonderful, and we especially enjoyed seeing community citizens accompany the professional musicians. It was a wonderful opportunity for young musicians to showcase their skills.

The NC Symphony is not in the same league as some of the great orchestras in the county but it is not far behind. We are very proud of our symphony orchestra and have always enjoyed their performances.

This is a fine orchestra with a wide repertoire and its own style. Definitely worth the experience. Look for special programs at holidays etc.

I'm not educated or experienced about music, but I thought they sounded good! We saw Disney movie music.

I have always loved the symphony and went often in Cleveland, OH. Our NC symphony is very good and I enjoy listening every chance I get. The 4th of July show is fantastic.

Not only can you hear the NC Symphony in Raleigh but regularly in Chapel Hill and often in other locations around the state. It is a good resource for the people of NC and don't forget to bring your children!

The NC Symphony has apparently been around a long while, and it was fun to attend a performance as part of their 80th anniversary. Their execution of Korsakov's Scheherazade was excellent, one of my favorite works!

Went three times this year, and each was terrific. Beautiful hall and even the drinks and snacks are good. Got to have the brownies! If you can park on the lot just before the hall on W. South St. It's in the trees and just a little sign, but it's only $5 (vs. $7 now in the garage) and a... More

We've been patrons and season members of the NC Symphony for over 15 years, and it is the best donation we've ever made. William Henry Curry is full of character and always a delight to watch conduct. Our son is 15 now, so this summer (2013) will be his 16th summer in attendance at Summerfest. We started taking him to... More
