Highly recommend taking a day to visit this museum, which is next to the Museum of History. Natural Sciences recently expanded, and their new area is awesome! Check their web site for more details and photos.

This museum is appropriate for school age and above. It offers great programs and exhibits (we saw Titanic). The building is beautiful, spacious, modern; the three level theater is awe inspiring for children. The opportunities to view and participate in science is pretty cool too. Special Exhibits do have fees attached.

We love the museum. There are interesting things for everyone to see and hands on things for the little kids (& the big kids too). We especially like to go to "science trivia" nights and have a bite to eat. Our family makes an entire, leisurely day of it, then finishes off with a great little meal (and the food... More

We really enjoyed our day and journey on the Titanic. It was an awesome experience to view the artifacts. I would definitely recommend this exhibit and the museum of course is just a great place all the time.

This is a wonderful museum (along with the History Museum nearby) which allows the little ones' minds to wander. The addition of the globe is just icing on the cake.

This museum was very educational and well laid out. There are exhibits ranging from coastal areas to the forests of NC. The life size dioramas are very realistic. There are even full skeletons of whales hanging from the ceiling. Loved this place!

This is a good museum for all ages. It has very appealing exhibits and movies. Often school groups come here during the week but there is plenty of room for all visitors.

I visited this museum while on a business trip and was really pleased with the facility. The exhibits are really well done and are designed to appeal to both adults and children - they've done a really fine job of providing that wide appeal. Don't miss the amazing whale skeletons as well as crossing over to the research building where... More
