Once parked, the falls are a few hundred feet away. The path to the falls is entirely wood paneled and well maintained. The falls are beautiful and one can walk right behind and around. The water flows off to a beautiful river stream. Easy to view and very pretty so it's a must see.

A fair amount of steps and you'll get your heart rate up a little. If you go to Dry Falls after a rain you might get a little damp or wet walking underneath the falls. A lot of power in the rushing water. Fun to see. Kids will enjoy. Might be too strenuous for the elderly.

This is a nice stop for everyone. The walk around down and behind the falls has recently been redone and is pretty easy for most everyone. There are some stairs so that could be a problem for some. Well worth the view from behind the falls.

This is a smaller falls you can walk behind it but what we really liked was that we could drive our car through it and after the storm came through the water was really running pretty well

This is the most breath taking place. It's a must! There are a lot of steps but its worth the climb. The kids love being able to go behind a waterfall!

From the parking lot there are a few "rows" of stairs. But once you are at the bottom it is beautiful! Love the fact that you can walk under this waterfall too. The kids ran back and forth behind the falls to get the mist that was coming off of it. Loved it!!

If you are in or near Highlands North Carolina then this falls is a must see. It is breathtaking. There are a few steep stairs but then there is a ramp so not too tiring. One of the fun things about this falls is you can walk behind it. You will probably get wet but definitely worth it.

This was our second visit here. Easy to get too, stairs, and ramp, and it is such a magnificent waterfall. Very powerful and loud, you are able to walk right under the falls and observe it from the other side. Highly recommend if you are in the area. I'll go see it every time we visit.

The picturesque beauty of the trail to the falls was amazing and upon approaching the falls itself the view was breathtaking. A definite must when visiting the area.
