This is a hybrid between a library, children's theater and teen lounge. One of the more unique offerings are their specialty classes and special events. -- Worth checking out, particularly on a rainy day, or very hot afternoon.

Trying to find something to do with the kiddos ages 3 and 6 on the weekend. This is a great place especially if they are running a program. When we were here, they had the Charlotte symphony, and my children were able to try a variety of instruments and they loved it!

Beautiful display of artistic creativity at the main entrance. The hanging mobile is awesome. The book selection is decent as well. Several ipads, with children friendly apps, on each floor is an added plus.

Our grandchildren moved to Charlotte 6 years ago, so we have been to ImaginOn many times since they were quite little and enjoyed it each time. There is so much to do not matter how old the child may be. Now that they are older, our grandchildren love the IMAX and the special visiting shows the best. "Pirates" and "Pompeii"...
