Beautiful! The mansion is awesome as are the views it overlooks. We were there before tourist season started so it was wonderfully quiet. There were horse riders using the trails. Definitely worth some time. More

We took our three dogs and went for a day of hiking at Moses Cone Memorial Park. Had a little difficulty finding where to actually park and picked a trail head off Flannery Fork Rd. Take my advice, get to it from the Blue Ridge Parkway and park at the Cone Manor. Another option would be to park at Bass... More

I love the trails here. We have walked with our talks and ridden with our horses. They are well cleared so you're not having to step over dead trees, etc. The scenery is beautiful and there are miles and miles to walk. Great places to take pictures from too. You'll love it. More

It was fun to walk around the grounds and enjoy the mountain views overlooking Bass Lake at the bottom of the ravine. The artisan craft shop inside the house had extraordinary wares - carving, quilts, pottery... excellent! More

When you stand on the back of the house or wall near the house and view seems to go for 100 Miles. This place is really, really well maintained and a Jewel in the Carolinas that should be viewed by all drivers on the Blue Ridge Parkway! More
