I've been visiting this museum for a few years and have recently introduced my boyfriend to it. Being a diver he loved it right away. It can be easily overlooked since it is above a souvenir shop but it has never disappointed me. We bought a metal detector from them and were given excellent instructions. The staff is very friendly... More

A great way to learn about the area, lots of interesting booty from shipwrecks and colonial days. A good place to take the kids for a change from the beach.

The museum is at the top of SeaShell City on Route 1 in Fenwick Island, DE. It's an awesome place to see some unique finds. It's ever evolving so each time you go, you might see something new. It's a wonderful thing to do with your kids on a rainy day and only a donation is requested for this educational... More

Found this place on trip advisor. The reviews were good so we thought we would check it out. And we were still surprised by how much was there! This was a very nice museum. We are 2 adults, no kids, and it was very enjoyable for us. It is on top of a store and you have to enter through... More

We visit the DiscoverSea Shipwreck Museum every year while vacationing in the area. Each year the museum seems to have more and more interesting items. The gems, gold, coins, and other artifacts that have been found in shipwrecks from the area are just beautiful. The owner is often in the museum, and at our last visit he allowed my son... More

I thought it couldn't possible be nice for free, but I was very surprised. My son is currently obsessed with the Titanic so this was a good choice to visit.

DiscoverSea Shipwreck Musuem, what a neat place! In Fenwick Island, DE, it makes a nice day trip if you are vacationing at the DelMarVa Beaches, especially on a rainy day. It is located on the top floor of a seashell shop, Seashell City. The museum has grown, impressively, during the years since it opened, several years ago. The displays, of... More

This is truly worth the stop! A friend of mine that lives in the area says that the locals go here a lot. The museum shows about 10% of all the diving that Dale W. Clifton Jr. has done. Dale has been featured in tons of TV shows and magazines but he would never tell you that. There is things... More

This museum is in the upstairs of a gift shop, but turned out to be worth finding it. All the adults in our group really were interested in their displays and enjoyed seeing the treasures

Had a great visit to this small but packed museum. The guy working there was very informative and let my kids hold some silverware from the Titanic and some emeralds. We spent about an hour there - the owner has personally recovered most of the objects and it is an impressive collection. My boys (8 and 5) were fascinated -... More
