Yaddo Gardens is a nice spot to visit or take some really good pictures. It's not very large but there are some beautiful garends, some amzing fountains and nice statues and a cute coy fish pond. Looks like it could be a nice spot for a picnic.

Very scenic. This is a great place for a picnic or to take pictures. Great for couples. The garden is gorgeous and is right for the price: free!

It's definitely a place to come by and see on a tuesday when the horses are on break. Come early in the morning when the sunlight is on the roses, it gets shaddy pretty early.

Take a moment to stop by the Yadoo. This place is just by hwy 87, exit 14: enter by Union ave. There is a small parking and you can walk to the gardens. Most of this property is private but the gardens are open to the public for free. There are 2 adjacent gardens: a garden of roses and and... More

The Gardens at Yaddo is a small garden that is part of the Trask estate. The mansion is now "home" to resident artists seeking a place to focus on their craft. You can't tour the house, but the gardens are open to the public. We wanted to see the estate so we took a ride- the rose garden is a... More

A great place to stop in and stretch your legs after school with the kids. The fountains are pretty as is the trellis. Would not plan to spend more than an hour there as there is nothing to do there other than walk the small gardens.

This place is just beautiful! If you need a little peace and quiet while surrounded by beautiful gardens, this is the place to go. You can easily walk the area in under an hour, but you'll want to stay for the whole afternoon!

Not very much to see, a walk around the formal gardens and your done, 10-15 minutes. Spend your time walking in the park in town or where the Gideon Putnam is.
