The ladies running the gift shop and assisting you upon entry were the sweetest ever. They were well informed, and made sure I was as well. The museum is well laid out and full of interesting artifacts and videos. I enjoyed my visit and suggest it if you are interested in dance and dance history. More

I thought there could be so many more exhibits. The building is VERY beautiful, though. More

Took my girls here for some auditions....saw it last summer, one of several nice, small museums within the park. A nice set of exhibits on dance...but just a quick trip will do. More

As a dancer I was excited to visit this museum. My husband and I were the only visitors in the entire "museum." There were bare walls and barely any exhibits. For being a national museum I have more dance memorabilia in my house! There was a dance stamp collection which took an entire room with some stamps labeled the wrong... More

This museum contains an interesting display of dance memorabilia and art, and while I'm not a huge fan of dance I enjoyed the Hall of Fame exhibit honoring Michael Jackson, and the display of costumes from Dancing With the Stars. The museum is in a building that used to house the "Washington Baths"- a place were people came to get... More

This is only a 1-2 hour museum, but it is beautiful, well-run, and has a great kid's section (assuming your kids like dance!) More
