Great grooming, helpful, courteous staff. Two places to eat..one large lunchroom and then the restaurant on site is great because it offers soups, specials and homemade treats that you earned burning off all those calories skiing.

My family and I went snowshoeing at this center. About an hour and 15 minute drive for us, and it is somewhat hidden away off the main highway. Used buy one, get one half off promotion for trail use fee, but our total was still $58 for two adults, one youth and one junior. Rented our snowshoes, so this is...

Family friendly; great ski shop; well groomed, beautiful trails - some easy some difficult (a nice mix); serenity when you need it; live local so never stayed in a tupa; REALLY hoping for more snow for 2012! Check their website for up to date conditions.

I've been a regular at Lapland Lake for 15 years and felt it deserved my review. I'll start with the skiing. The beautiful coniferous forest with varied terrrain and a serene lake is the perfect backdrop for x-c skiing. There are many switchbacks, which I personally think make for a more interesting and technical ski. It's better suited for classical...

We visited Lapland Lake Cross Country Center while spending a winter weekend in the Southern Adirondacks. The facility is a great place to spend all day exploring the varied trails while getting some much needed winter exercise. The trails are well maintained and groomed and it was not at all crowded so that you could travel at your own pace....

Overall ,we had a great time. We stayed in one of the tupas on the grounds. But, I have to say that the tupas are VERY overpriced concidering the size and interior (old and non-existant) + hot water for one shower only (and really no warning!). I found that staying in the tupa is very convinient with small children, so...

We're certainly pleased you enjoyed your time with us. A few clarifications are needed, however.
This was a very late start to our season (normally we are skiing in late November or early December, but the entire Northeast experienced a late opening this season). You arrived to stay with us on one of our fist days of operation which was...

We had been thinking about staying at Lapland Lake for years, but the prices of the tupas during the winter season always scared us away. But in the 'tween seasons you can get some good deals (I think we have one night free with two nights paid). Actually we have found they have discounts every weekend if they are not...

I rented a tupa (cabin) for one night in March. Due to the volume of snow we've gotten this year, there was still plenty to ski on.
When I arrived, Ann greeted me and gave me all of the info I'd need on my tupa. She also handed me a sheet with that weekend's activities, told me about the perks...

Lapland lake has wonderfully groomed trails, which you can access from the front door of your tupa. Bringing your own food is a plus as you save a lot of $$$$. However, we did order a catered meal the night we arrived and it was very good. We found the staff very friendly and helpful during our 3 day stay....
