Exhibits include blacksmith shop, weaving, farm life, a mastodon skeleton, firehouse, school house, log cabin, energy and the environment. Special events include Boy Scout and Girl Scout Days, 4-H programs, Family Fun and Games, and a Civil War re-enactment Labor Day Weekend. « less

If you want your kids to appreciate how "things used to be" This is a definitively a learning/fun experiences for the whole group. ALOT of field trip...For school Suggestions. Easier for the kids to grasp. And you will learn a few things too? More

Check out the website to go during an event and you will have a great time if you love historic sites. They have great tour guides who will show you inside the buildings, show you how to make brooms, candles, etc. When we went the store wasn't even open. At one time the Museum Village was a sparkling part of Orange County History..Lately...the sparkle has worn off. More closed than open... More

Visiting Museum Village is my way of going back into time. Being a lover of history, I am able to enjoy the benefits of such a terrific resource in my very own community. There are many events that are wonderful to attend. Fire Fighter's Day when all the local fire departments join the Museum to proudly show off their own... More

It was kool but not very large. The time it took is to get there was longer then the time it took us to walk the whole thing. I think its best for small kids. Very nice and knowledgable staff. More

We visit this Museum Village every year or two. We love it, especially when the speakers/presenters are there. We've watched soap being made, apple products being made, assisted with candle-making, and the whole experience is fantastic.
