You can get fresh pies and ice cream here, as well as bait and tackle for your fishing trip. It's also an internet cafe (wifi on the patio)! The owners can answer any questions you have about the area. Be sure to take the boat tour, it's worth it. Fun and informative, and the scenery is beautiful as it goes...

Blue Mountain Lake (NY) Boat Livery doesn't look like much, but that belies the expertise of its owners. Decades of boating experience and deep personal knowledge of the history of the area and its gilded age denizens make taking Crabby Bob's two hour boat tour one of the best two hours you'll spend in the Adirondacks.

Blue Mountain Lake Boat Livery is just down the road from the Adirondack Museum and provides a "Must Do" activity through Columbus Day weekend. My husband and I took the 2pm historic tour of 3 lakes and really enjoyed cruising the waters and hearing the history of this area.
