It would be a good place to take kids. Not too expensive but it has seen better days. Whimsy is good but clean and organize it. More

It's a very eclectic attraction with lots of miniature animated displays. There is also one of the old time fortune teller machines and it dispenses your paper fortune. I don't know that I would recommend driving out of your way to see it but if you're going right past it I recommend stopping. More

This is one of the architectural treasures of what is called outsider art. I LOVE how the creator Ross Ward said "This is what I did while you were watching television". If you need to be stimulated by Disneyland like props, you will not be able to enjoy what Tinkertown offers. This place is a homage to imagination, creativity and... More

This was strange, amusing, unique for sure. It needed some housekeeping. It was enjoyable enough, perhaps best for children. Very eccentric little place. More

This place has been featured on national media. Full of heart and hard to describe. Hundreds of wood carvings and something unusual around every corner, a wall made of bottles, 25cent machines with moving scenes and ... a boat.. in the mountains. Great gift shop full of New Mexico treasures. Be sure to meet Carla Ward-Owner and widow of the... More

If you are in the area of the scenic crest byway and are in the mood for something completely different it is worth stopping by. You will probably never see anything quite like it. More

Oh the "stuff" this place has! Everyone should go once. But now that I've gone once, I don't see myself going again. When we went there was hardly any other visitors so that made it nice and quiet. It's way outta the way from Abq.   More
