I've always like classi cars and Franschhoek motor museum have the best of the best, you just have to come and see for yourself!
We went to the museum over a weekend and it was pleasantly not that busy. The cars were great but you really wanted to get a bit closer or be able to walk around each - you can't put an Enzo in a room and only give a view from the front. The Mercedes were freaking cool. All I want... More

For this reason we have already visited it 3 times. As a gardener, I enjoyed walking around the estate. The gardens are viewed with a spectacular... More
Definitely a must for the car enthusiast although even if you are not, you would find it very interesting and aappreciate the beauty of the classic cars on show.
I know nothing about cars, maybe even less than that and I absolutely loved this place. The cars and grounds are immaculate and everything about it takes your breath away. Also wine tasting and coffee to be had - don't leave it off your list. Even if you don't like cars. :)
This is something that even women wil enjoy. The setting is beautiful and there is the most stunning selection of classic cars I have ever seen. A wonderful trip through time!
Terrific museum, cars very well displayed in huge buildings, and some great extras like the old bikes. The wives enjoyed it almost as much as the husbands! Highly recommend.

First the setting is amazing, set in the wine country of Franschhoek valley. A drive up a long tree lined lane leads to a parking area and the entrance building. For an modest entrance fee... More
At the end of a drive through vineyards, set below the rolling hills of the Franschhoek valley sits this fabulous motor museum. The cars cover the history of the automobile from early to recent. They are laid out in four separate buildings, all purpose built. Apparently there is a huge garage underneath where they do restoration and store cars not... More
