If you want a decent ski area in the NY Metro area this is about your only option. It is a very commercial operation and they have made great efforts to modernize and update, both the amenities and the ski area (i.e. lifts). Not all that challenging terrain, but better than the other local alternatives.

I can accept the crappy snow conditions; after all, this is New Jersey. We arrived 9:30 AM and it took five different lines and rude personnel and 3 hours to get our rentals. Total chaos. We got stuck on Our first lift mid air for twenty minutes. A small Mac and cheese, French fries, a drink and a tasty cake cost $17. This place can not accommodate the crowds. Will never return.

Over crowded Holiday weekend no place for non skiing Mom to relax or pull in to park for short visit to check in and lockers way too small! Nice updates to lodge but hard to take in with so many people
