Liberty Hall Museum is a great place to explore. There is a lot to be discovered here, as you see the historic buildings, antiques, gardens and grounds. You'll appreciate many facts about New Jersey history. I would ditto what the two reviews about wrote. Much, much better than the Ballatine House at the Newark Museum...and I loved that place. So much history! Yes, George Washington actually did sleep there! Alexander Hamilton lived there for a time!! Shows period rooms from colonial times through the modern era. Liberty Hall is one of the most intact historical homes I've ever visited. It was lived in continuously by the same important family from 1772 until 1995 and it is completely furnished with all their belongings, including antiques, family portraits, ceramics, books, toys and much more. It portrays over two hundred years of changing lifystyles in American. A must see!!... More
