I love Newfound Lake. It is clean, quiet, and nested in the beautiful White Mountains. Bristol is not that exciting of a town. The lake freezes unevenly so beware on snowmobiles. Large open body of water is not as good for water-skiing. There are some pretty areas on the back side especially. More

The lake is clean and beautiful. Wonderful for swimming, or going out in a rowboat. We rented a cottage right on the water, and it was so peaceful. There are a few cute little restaurants nearby in Bridgewater, Bristol, etc. I particularly enjoyed the Bridgewater Inn Steakhouse (got the Montreal steak, delicious!) 100% the cleanest water I have ever encountered in my life. Beautiful scenery that takes you back in time. I have made it there every summer for the past 35 years and will continue to do so for the next 35. More

We visited friends in New Hampshire and had the opportunity to see the lakes of New Hampshire along with a visit to the White Mountains.
