Great for families and beginners - excellent ski school and awesome staff. However, if you're more experienced, there are wonderful black diamond trails and tree skiing that are less crowded. Very convenient to Incline Villagers.

I went there as a beginer in skii. In my opinion the place was amazing. There are not many options of tracks, but for my they were enough for one full day of skiing.
The views of lake tahoe are for sure the best part of this place. From most of the tracks the views are amazing. There is a...

Diamond Peak is small and low down, but has great family skiing and is less than 5 min drive from the Hyatt. Spring skiing was good at the top, we had fresh snow, but slushy at the bottom, which is to be expected. I think that was the last weekend of the season. Fun lodge and bar at the bottom,...

We love coming here with our boys 9 and 11! People are very nice and great place for learner and advance! Best value for learners!
We spent a day skiing Diamond Peak and had an absolute blast! I wanted to send a special thanks the resort staff, Eric, and Maggie, for providing such wonderful service during our ‘Last Tracks’ event. The wine was interesting, the food was delicious, and laying down fresh tracks on the groomed slopes was a great way to cap off the...

We had an awesome time at our group ‘Last Track’ event last week at Diamond Peak (highly recommend for an awesome team bonding experience)! The team at DP who worked our event were so much fun, and the food (and wine) was equally as great! Our group had a blast and the sunshine on the Snowflake Lodge deck over looking...

Diamond Peak is a little gem tucked away in the northeast corner of the Lake Tahoe Basin. The ski area lies above Incline Village, an upscale resort town known mostly as a retirement enclave for the wealthy desiring to escape taxes in other states. Diamond Peak is on the small end of resorts. Runs are short on the lower portion...

For shopping, we do have one retail shop at Diamond Peak with ski clothes and accessories for sale called The Village Ski Loft. They are a great local ski and bike shop, with a larger location just down the road. Great service and very convenient for buying the gloves, glasses, etc you may have left at home or lost on...

Nice easy runs and no lift lines. Great lake views. Cold beer in the lodge and easy access to parking.
Well said- thanks for writing in! You can ski right to your car or take a tram if you are further down the hill. Views of the lake from several areas on the mountain, including the parking lot!

We started our stay by booking at the Hyatt Spa Resort right around the corner from this ski resort. Between the staff there and the staff here, we had an absolutely lovely ski experience as did our kids. Although the resort is on the smaller side, it is absolutely fantastic for families while still hosting the occasional tougher slope for...

Having the Hyatt right down the street and the free shuttle makes it really convenient for families or groups. Glad you enjoyed your family vacation, thanks for sharing!

This ski resort has good potential but unfortunately it's not being met. Large areas of the resort are never groomed leaving them un-skiable for much of the season. With limited groomed terrain, skiers are all jammed together. It's best asset is the view from the top.
Check the conditions on our website to see an up to date listing of what is groomed when you plan to visit. The beginner runs, most of the intermediate, and a portion of the advanced trails are groomed each night. It varies based on the night and conditions but we do have a few areas that remain un-groomed due to...
