Had my high school picture taken there! Went there a lot to practice photography when in high school. Also, so enjoyed Antelope Park with all the roses and yes, the old days indoor stinky zoo!

This is one of my favorite spots to get shots. Beautiful when the flowers are in bloom. It is a great spot practice technique.

Nice place for a sunny afternoon. Easy to get too, no cost. Will have to go back alittle later in spring and or summer.

The other reviews are right when they say this park is small. You could definitely see everything there is to see in under an hour. Having said that, there are some wonderful attributes of this little retreat in the city. It would be the perfect place to get married, have a picnic, kill a little time between events, or even... Special, but small. Great for a local wedding, but not an afternoon stroll. Just too small for a "toutist" attraction.

Can be hard to park, and the gardens are small, but a great place to stop and just walk around a bit, enjoying massive beauty. Free!

The gardens are well kept and on both sides of the street. There is a large water feature and many flowering plants.

Although it is sandwiched between two busy streets, the Sunken Gardens are one of the few places in Lincoln where one can go and enjoy some peaceful surroundings. There is a large variety of flowers and they are uniquely arranged (e.g., I remember lines of alternating red, white, and blue flowers once around the 4th of July). The waterfall, fish,... More

This is a great place to visit on a leisurely afternoon. The flowers are all so beautiful & it's fun to see the fish in the ponds. I also enjoy seeing the bricks dedicated to people, including my grandparents.
