Our first time to a rodeo, It was great, just what we hoped for and we got to talk to the performers.
My wife & I went to the West Yellowstone rodeo after we enjoyed a horse ride at the Diamond P Ranch earlier that morning. Since there are not a lot of rodeo's going on in Central New York we decided to experience our 1st here in West Yellowstone. The atmosphere & crowd were great as was the rodeo itself. The... More
Very interesting to see the different activities that make up a rodeo. I found it very exciting to watch the cowboys work together to lasso the calfs in a short amount of time. I wasn't a big fan of the younger children riding the bulls. I think it is too dangerous sport for children.
Ok it's not a professional rodeo but its good fun and done very well....lots of variety and involvement of the crowd. I would definitely recommend.
You will get what you want out of this place. If you are expecting a Professional rodeo you will be greatly disappointed. If you want to see a small local rodeo then this place is for you. We did the pre rodeo trail ride. The guides (who also performed in the rodeo) did an excellent job of helping my 6... More
I would avoid this place. Spend your time and money at some place other than this dive. Much better rodeos in the area, including Cody. Unfortunately we didn't have the time to drive to one of those and thought "how bad can this be?" Ohh, it can be bad! Negative reviewers have it right.
Read all the reviews - either good or bad - they are all true... ...the experience is what you wish to make of it. If you are expecting a professional rodeo - pass. But if you want to get the general feel of a small-time backyard rodeo...you can have some fun. Nobody won anything the night we went except the... More
We really enjoyed our time here - so much so that we went twice and also went back to do some horse riding. It was great fun watching all the different rodeo experiences and we got a feel of the real cowboy lifestyle. It's a cheap and fun night out! The hot dogs are pretty good too!
Tiny mud pit. Abrasive staff refused to give a refund despite a full blown thunderstorm that started 10 minutes before the show. Dirt parking lot was a pool of water and mud. No cover anywhere. Ripoff
When in the area I would recommend staying in the National Park for a couple of additional hours and pass on this venue. When was the last time you attended a rodeo where no calves were roped and taken down, ALL eight attempts at bull riding stayed on the bull for less than three or four seconds, most of the... More
