The State Capitol Building was gorgeous! The colors were breathtaking and the dome spectacular. The whole building told a story with it's wonderful artwork and design. I had a charming gentleman that was the Sergeant at Arms give me a tour of the whole place. I really suggest you visit if you get the opportunity.

What a nice place to spend an hour or two wandering around. Self guided tour, beautiful pictures, stained glass. Love the old building, statues and history everywhere. Enjoyed just wandering around and seeing the old architecture.

lots to see especially with legislature in session. stain glass and statues on my tour. OLd Supreme court is lovely, the House and Senate chambers fun to view.

It was amazing to see the murals, busts, and statues were amazing. Even some of the colors reflect history of the state. It was amazing to walk through and see it all.

We took our pictures before the wedding at the capitol. It was not busy on a saturday so we had no issues with trying to find a place to take pictures. It was very beautiful and there are many different areas to get different backgrounds.

We try to catch capitol buildings when visiting other states. This one is quite beautiful and worth seeing. Be sure to see the CM Russell painting, it is piece of history. There is beautiful stain glass and many other architectural details.

Visited the capitol on our way from GNP to YNP when we stayed over in Helena. It is a very pretty building and the grounds are very nice as well.
