The Billings Symphony is always a great night out. The acoustics at ABT theater are excellent and there's not a bad seat in the house. Anne Harrigan always picks songs that are uplifting and beautifully conducted. One of my favorite things to do in Billings.

For a small city I think we have an excellent symphony and chorale!!!! The conductor, Anne Harrington is good and very entertaining with lots of sweeping and other dramatic gestures. The players are skillful and I love that young players are given an opportunity to join the symphony. The concerts are always in the lovely Alberta Bair theater.

We were surprised by the high quality of the performers. Brass section is perhaps the only weak area of this group. Conductor spent too much time talking, but the musical performances were great.

I went to my first event at the Billings Symphony last month and it was a great evening. We are now considering getting season tickets for next winter.

5 or 6 performances a year a year with a fine part-time director and guest performers. Local musicians who love to perform!
