my friend liked it but I would not get into the coffin that took her up. The Arch was interesting, though, right next to the Mississippi & the park was a nice place to run inn the morning.

I like all the history shared in the lobby. the park and grounds are beautiful, nice ride to the top, but once you're there it's a quick trip back down.
When coming to St. Louis, experiencing the "Gateway to the West" was my number one priority. I couldn't wait to visit it. I was disappointed by the experience, unfortunately. The outside is as impressive and iconic as one would expect from photos. The tour inside is where things go wrong.

An experience but as the headline says book before you go to be assured of a trip to the top of US's tallest monument.
Once you are at the summit you are able to get out of your capsule and walk around in an enclosed and safe feeling environment. Slanted windows enable you to look right down and away into...

The Arch, which is the first place we take out-of-town guests to, commemorates the Jefferson-commissioned westward expansion river adventure of Lewis and Clark. With its parabolic shape, it is quite the architect's and engineer's dream!

Enjoy the views from the ground and the top at this National Park. Stand near the monument to understand just how big it is. Reserve the time for your "pod" ride in advance and take in the view from the top. The pods seat 5 adults-- be sure to duck before entering. A short smooth ride to the top brings...

The Gateway Arch, which also serves as a monument to Thomas Jefferson and the Louisiana Purchase, sits amid a beautiful green park with steps that lead down to the Mississippi River. It's a great location for spending a pleasant day with family and friends. A subterranean museum tells the story of America's expansion with interesting exhibits, and small capsules whisk...

They certainly have an amazing system down for getting huge numbers of people through. They were friendly and efficient and that was nice. As...
