It was my first time going to Gooseberry Falls and Split Rock Lighthouse and the drive up there was breathtakingly beautiful!

One of my FAVORITE parts of our trip was this beautiful little drive! You're right at the waters edge, and there's lots of cute little houses to check out too!

If you've made it up to Duluth, do pamper yourself with a drive up route 61. This is one of the most beautiful parts of the world, and there are plenty of unique restaurants and bars along the route.

Got Groupon passes - saved and had a blast, Train goes along coastal area of Lake Superior and goes a little bit past the Glensheen mansion. Very pretty scenic ride. Its not too long and its not too short - kids love it! Great time had by all!

This is a great drive, whether it's just the two of you or you have a van packed with kids. There are tons of places to get out, take pictures, walk around, swim or picnic. The North Shore drive is so gorgeous. Be sure to drive at least up to Split Rock Light House. Make many stops along the way to really enjoy the big lake!

I woke up early and started my drive before sunrise in hopes that I would make it to one of the scenic overlooks by sunrise. It is a lovely drive, but the fog was so bad that we could were not able to take any good pictures. I do recomend everyone take the drive to really see a lake so large that you might think it is the ocean.
